- Business Referrals: While assisting companies considering a Greater Philadelphia location, Select Greater Philadelphia (Select) is able to refer company inquiries to Investors and provide direct introductions between Investors for business development opportunities.
- Events: Throughout the year, Select hosts a variety of special events for our Investors to attend. These events include economic briefings, industry-focused discussions, and receptions.
- Marketing Missions: Select coordinates industry-based trade missions throughout the world. Investors with industry expertise participate in these trips. Previous missions include many US cities and international destinations, such as China, France, Germany, Korea, and the UK.
- Committees: Investors can serve on ad-hoc committees developed around identified industry clusters to create an action plan for assisting in the attraction of these industries and jobs. Investors are also invited to join smaller working groups of the CEO Council for Growth (Select’s Board of Directors) to engage in issues around upgrading the region’s infrastructure, ensuring a steady and talented local workforce, and fostering entrepreneurial growth.

Collateral and Events: Investors are recognized and listed in Select’s collateral materials, including our annual Regional Report, periodic industry studies, and other publications, as well as displayed at all Select events. Customized Research: Investors can access economic forecasts and research on labor statistics, demographics, and industry trends in the GPR. Staff can provide customized data and analyses in the areas of economic impact assessment, market studies, labor/workforce, real estate/site selection, industry profiles, company listings, taxes and regulation, housing, transportation, utilities, education, and other quality of life information. Regional Reports: Investors are offered a supply of this annual publication that contains current economic data for site selectors and others interested in expanding or locating to the region, and offers a comprehensive analysis of how the GPR compares to competitor regions on a number of key indicators and metrics. Investor Intelligence: Investors receive Select’s informative monthly e-newsletter, Momentum, and bi-monthly Progress Reports with inside information on Select’s initiatives, company locations, and important business and industry news in the region.
